Providing engineering services since 1994, MBI has completed civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural design projects for many of the country’s top leading organizations, including Nissan, American Honda North America, Whirlpool, University of Tennessee, and many more. MBI’s Civil Department specializes in site development services for a variety of commercial, industrial, restaurant, multi-family, medical, education, church and residential uses. With engineers licensed in 39 states, we work in coordination with our surveying department to provide complete site development services from preliminary design through construction completion.

With staff licensed in all 50 states, MBI Structural Engineering provides clients across the US and internationally with engineering services for virtually all types of buildings and structures, from planning through to completion, with a skilled professional team working together to produce designs that are economical and practical. Our expertise includes designing with all building materials including steel, concrete, masonry, wood, aluminum, and cold-formed steel. Our use of Building Information Modeling and computer aided structural analysis provides effective communication between our clients and builders enabling them to solidify their investments and increase their value in the marketplace.
Sign Engineering
With staff licensed in all 50 states, MBI Sign Engineering provides clients across the US with engineering services for virtually all types of signs and specialty structures. We provide design for foundations, support steel, attachment of channel letters and wall signs. We also engineer specialized structures in steel, concrete, aluminum, and wood. Electrical Engineering
MBI’s Electrical Department is available to provide design drawings and specifications for power, lighting, grounding, data/IT, fire alarm, and secondary systems such as security, photovoltaic, emergency power systems, lightning protection design services., facility, and needs assessments. MBI can also perform facility and needs assessments, arc fault studies, and protective device coordination studies. Our expertise lies in industrial, education, churches, restaurants, retail, office, medical, and a host of other industries. Our engineers are licensed in 34 states.
Mechanical Engineering
Our Mechanical Department has more than 25 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, industrial ventilation, compressed air, chilled water, and steam system design services, as well as facility and needs assessments. Our expertise lies in education, churches, restaurants, retail, office, industrial, medical, and a host of other projects.
